About Us
We have been course instructors since 1987 and 1996, respectively. In January 1999 our partnership was formed. We are trained and certified in confined space training, first responder training, and hazmat training. Both of us are certified California state and DoD Instructors III and Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Specialists and DoD Technicians, HazMat ICS, WMD-FRA, FRO and ICS, American Red Cross Instructors, and we both have California and or Virginia State and DoD Confined Space Instructors. All instructors we use are certified instructors and have been evaluated during a teaching segment. Quality has always been the foundation in which we base our courses. We are located in Tehachapi in the mountains between the Antelope Valley and Bakersfield California. EISI has been instructing courses to companies and DoD throughout California

Courses we offer are:
First Aid, CPR and AED, 8 hours: This course is certified by the American Red Cross. It is taught by a highly certified and qualified instructor with many years of experience in emergency response and application of the techniques.

Fall Protection, 4 & 8 hours
These are taught not only to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard but can be tailored to your company's specific safety protocols and or standards as long as they do not detract from the OSHA intent. The 4 hour course is for personnel already trained and is a refresher, the eight-hour course is for personnel not trained in fall protection.

Fire Extinguisher
This is designed to familiarize personnel with the first aid fire safety devices in their area. They will receive a classroom portion and a thorough hands-on portion. Everyone will put hands on the extinguishers and become intimately familiar with these devices. We tailor to your specific type extinguishers on your site.

Confined Space
There are three courses we provide: The first is a
General Permit Required Confined Space course, the second is
Emergency on site Rescue, and the third is an Emergency Services Confined Space course.

All three will be taught against the OSHA and National Fire Protection Administration (NFPA) Standards. Upon completion, we ensure you will be able to identify the difference between what a Non-Permit and Permit required confined spaces are. You’ll understand the various position duties, procedures and requirements. You’ll understand Non-entry and Emergency on site rescue duties, procedures and requirements as well as the Emergency Services rescue duties, responsibilities and requirements. Above all you will be able to perform your duties in the various positions. All three (3) courses do have an annual refresher requirement. General Permit Required Confined Space Entry is one (1) day. Emergency on site rescue is two (2) days, and Emergency Services Confined Space is an initial five (5) days with a three (3) day annual refresher.

Hazardous Materials
We instruct 8 different HAZWOPER courses which all follow the OSHA and NFPA Standards, and all require an annual refresher. These are as follows:
